RADIO WAR NERD is a regular person’s guide to war.  It’s profane and black humored, as befits its subject.  It’s addictive, because once you learn that every crazy massacre actually makes a certain terrible sense — and that every security talking head is paid to lie — you want to get the truth about the latest news, and learn more about the past, so that you can see the patterns you weren’t taught in school or anywhere else.

John Dolan, aka Gary Brecher, The War Nerd, is an epic poet and analyst of war. Gary Brecher is a character invented by Dolan to be the pseudonymous author of The War Nerd column, which first appeared in The eXile, and later for NSFWCorp, and PandoDaily, discussing current wars and other military conflicts from a military, political, or (rarely) social standpoint. "Crude, scatological, un-P.C., yet deeply informed", he analyzes military strategy, tactics, and contexts of ongoing and past conflicts. In his first eXile column, Brecher declared that The War Nerd was to be "a column on how all the wars are going, kind of a war reviewer." He has since migrated to the subscription-only Radio War Nerd podcast.

Mark Ames co-founded the eXile, the premier English language news source on Russia during a decade that is still the structuring absence of our world today. He also wrote Going Postal, the only book on gun rage incidents that puts them into the large American historical tradition from slave revolts to the Reaganism that is now so normalized people have forgotten what changed. He is the author of myriad pieces of critical investigative journalism.

TRUEANON is the podcast focused on uncovering the truth of the Epstein conspiracy. Join unlicensed private investigators Liz Franczak, Brace Belden, Yung-Chomsky in their journey digging through the Ep-Files.
