Chloe Troast is the only new SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE cast member to join season 49 and was named a NEW FACE at Just for Laughs 2023. Previously, she landed the Amy Pascal Feature Film GOODRICH starring Michael Keaton and shot a recurring role on Paul Feig's ABC pilot DROP OFF, opposite Ellie Kemper. Grace Kuhlenschmidt is an NYC based stand-up comedian, actress and writer who was recognized by the New York Times as one of the top 7 Comedians to Watch. Last year she was also recognized as a New Faces: Creators by Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival. Grace recurred in the final season of SEARCH PARTY (HBO Max) and can be seen in the first season of KILLING IT (Peacock). She also appeared in the first season of ZIWE on Showtime. She wrote for the Audible Original series HOT WHITE HEIST which was directed by Alan Cumming and produced by Broadway Video.

JAMES AUSTIN JOHNSON is a comedian originally from Nashville and a featured player on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. The New York Times has called him “one of SNL’s most versatile celebrity impressionists.” His spot-on impression of Trump paired with his improvisational ramblings about Weird Al, Julia Louis Dreyfus, and Scooby Doo have garnered over 5 million views, with profiles on James in Vanity Fair, Slate, Mashable, and Vice to name a few.  As an actor, James' TV/Film credits include FUTURE MAN, BASKETS, ROBBIE, BETTER CALL SAUL, THE LAST TYCOON and the Coen Brothers’ feature HAIL, CAESAR!.  As a stand up, James has performed on the Vice series FLOPHOUSE, as well as RIOT LA and JUST FOR LAUGHS as a New Face.

Sarah Sherman aka Sarah Squirm is currently a featured player on Saturday Night Live. Outside of the show, she is known for her unconventional and popular live show, Helltrap Nightmare. She was chosen to be a New Face at the 2021 Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Sarah opened for Eric Andre’s national tour and wrote on THE ERIC ANDRE SHOW. She staffed on the Adult Swim series THREE BUSY DEBRAS and Netflix’s MAGIC FOR HUMANS. She was previously named one of Vulture's Comics to Watch for 2018 and one of TIME OUT Magazine’s Five Comics to Watch for 2017. Sarah recently wrote, directed, and starred in SARAH VACCINE [means.tv] , a short that Paper Mag described as a “maniacal, gross-out and overwhelming response to [our] lockdown hell”.

Joe Mande is the comedic talent known for his Award-Winning Netflix stand-up special, acting roles on shows like “Hacks,” “Modern Family,” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” multiple appearances on late-night TV, and as a writer for “Parks and Recreation” and the “The Good Place.”
